We are quite busy, and excellent customer service is a must.
Great customer experience is paramount.
You must be able to stay off of your personal phone or electronic device during your work shift.
The perfect candidate will possess at least 1 year of veterinary hospital experience, excellent people skills, be a team player, must love to smile, must be comfortable with people, computers and animals.
This position is for someone that wants to and will continue to learn how to better serve our clients, and helping them to have a great experience with us.
You must like to work with people and enjoy working as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills are a must.
You must be able to lift 25 pounds, sit and stand for extended periods, reach over your head and bend to your knees, stand on a small library step stool, walk large dogs, walk and carry pets in carriers.
You will be required to continually be learning about pet health and pet care following the guidelines of the doctor, and the standards of care.
Continuing education is required and provided.
You will need great phone skills and have a warm compassionate personality.
Hours:
30-40 hours per week, including some Saturday mornings.
We count on our employees to be available reliably, to be punctual, and to work a schedule that can be as early as 7:
30 am and as late as 7:
00 pm.
Clean, ironed scrub pants and tops are the daily uniform, provided at your own expense.
Random drug testing may be performed.
References WILL be checked.
